Bruno's Coupon Policy and Other Promotions.

The following is copied from a Bruno's Coupon Policy Email. The first is basically coupons and it is followed by the promotional policy. Updated 4/8/11

Coupon Redemption Policy

We operate under the formats of Bruno’s, Food World, Southern Family Markets and Piggly Wiggly (some Piggly Wiggly stores are independently owned and therefore do not fall under this policy). We appreciate your business and your request for more information about our coupon redemption policy. This policy for the three basic types of coupons, Manufacturer, Store, and Internet is explained below, as well as our policy on accepting competitor’s coupons.

Manufacturer Coupons are those coupons for which Southern Family Markets is reimbursed by companies that sell product in our stores.

a. We double manufacturer coupons up to fifty cents ($0.50).

b. Manufacturer coupons can not be layered; you can not use more than one coupon per item purchased.

c. Limit of ten (10) Manufacturer coupons can be used when you purchase ten (10) items.

d. Value of coupon cannot exceed the value of item. (If value exceeds the price the item is free but no cash is given back).

e. All coupons accepted must be in date and legible.

Internet Coupons Southern Family Markets will accept Internet Coupons when they are approved by Management. Coupons should never decrease the order for more than the product. Coupons should never be copies or altered.

a. We do not accept “free product” internet printed manufacturer coupons.

b. Internet coupon must scan at checkout.

c. Internet coupons must have serial numbers and follow industry-standard format.

d. Manufacturer Internet printed coupons must clearly indicate that they are a manufacturer coupon and have a valid manufacture address printed on the coupon.

e. Only one Internet Coupon allowed for each like item.

f. Value of coupon cannot exceed the value of item.

g. We do not accept any Internet printed coupons in excess of four dollars and ninety nine cents ($4.99).

h. All coupons accepted must be in date and legible.

Store Coupons are coupons from our advertisements or mailers and the reduced items coupons we use on in- store items.

a. Store coupons are not doubled.

b. Store coupons can not be layered; you cannot use more than one coupon per item purchased.

c. Value of coupon (when free) cannot exceed the value of item. (No cash is given back).

d. All coupons accepted must be in date and legible.

Competitor’s Coupons are not accepted in most of our locations. We do have a few stores that are an exception to this rule and in these locations we have signs posted on the doors notifying you which competitor’s coupons are honored there. Please ask the Store Manager at the store where you shop if you are unsure of their policy.

Due to the high incidence of fraudulent coupons in the market, we reserve the right to deny any coupons that we cannot verify as legitimate.

Promotional Discounts Policy

We operate under the formats of Bruno’s, Food World, Southern Family Markets and Piggly Wiggly (some Piggly Wiggly stores are independently owned and therefore do not fall under this policy). We appreciate your business and your request for more information about our discount policy.

These discounts no not apply to any tobacco products, beer or wine.

Senior Discount

Persons 60 years of age and older receive 5% off every Wednesday in all our grocery stores.

Military Discount

Members of the military receive 5% off on Friday, Saturday and Sunday when military ID is shown to cashier. (Varies by store; please check with management at the store where you shop.)

Student Discount

Students receive 5% off on Monday when Student or Faculty ID is shown to cashier. (Varies by store; please check with management at the store where you shop.)

Pharmacy Discount

Customers with new or transferred prescriptions receive a 10% discount for grocery purchases with a coupon from Pharmacy.

Manufacturer Coupon Discount

SFM doubles discounts on approved manufacturer coupons up to 50¢ every day. (Please see Coupon Redemption Policy for details.)
